Alterus Blackwind (Wizard)
Driven by an insatiable lust for knowledge, Alterus is of noble birth. Rather than rest in the lap of luxury like his lazy relatives, he demanded to be sent to the school of Eldritch Theory at a young age. There he sought mastery of arcane magic with what even his headmasters considered a disturbing level of obsession, but he didn’t care what they thought. He knew that he was destined to become one of the most powerful wizards to grace the material plane, and all naysayers be damned. As soon as he was ready, he sought out the Champions of Radiance, not for any desire to help others, but because he knew that the great wizard, Timiny, could expose him to the secrets of Eldritch supremacy that he so hungrily craved.
Tactics: Alterus abhors hand to hand combat, and prefers to deal with his enemies from afar. He will attack enemies that are already engaged by other PCs to avoid drawing their attention, and quickly eliminate the threat. He is not entirely selfish, however, and will attempt to disable any enemy who is about to do serious damage to an ally as quickly as possible.
