Spell Book

Similar in appearance to an ordinary book, there are several key differences. The materials used are always of the highest quality, with flawless, fine leather binding. The spine of the book is almost always protected by a expertly made metal or ivory casing, and truly affluent or eccentric wizards will often seek to use more exotic materials in their construction. The parchment within is magically treated to allow Eldritch writings to adhere properly to the pages, insuring the contents will never fade, even slightly. A common Spell Book will have about 100 such pages in it, and due to the involved methods in crafting such a tool, is far more expensive than a common book.
