Metaphysical Keyword

The Metaphysical Keyword signifies an ability an ability that allows a creature the ability to manifest their physical or mental power into physical being. This can also allow them to extend their mental will and exert it over others. This can be represented by a Monk manifesting his Qi energies into extraordinary effects or a Psion consolidating his thoughts into physical being. Regardless of the source of a Metaphysical Effect, they all have the following properties in common:

• Magical Effects can be dispelled or disjoined (unless the power or ability states otherwise) with an ability that targets Metaphysical effects.
• Metaphysical Effects are not subject to Magic Resistance.
• Metaphysical Effects have a potency that is used in making checks against Dispelling or Disjoining effects and when governing the interactions between Opposing Powers.
