Elder Vampire

As vampires age, they naturally become more powerful. Elder Vampire is a talent that may only be taken by Vampires that have lived a long time.

Elder Vampire I

The first step in an aging Vampire's unlife.

Prerequisites

  • Race: Vampire
  • Age: You must be a free-will Vampire for at least 50 years
  • Cost: 2 Destiny points

Features

♦ Unnatural Toughness I
You gain +1 Hitpoint per Level. This is a Talent bonus
♦ Strength of the Grave I
You gain a +2 Talent bonus to Strength.
♦ Knowledge of Undeath I
You gain one extra philosophy point which can be spent in the Undeath, Mental, or Physical philosophies.
♦ The Long Sleep
During an Extended rest, if you have no Blood Loss, you may enter a long state of Torpor where you sleep in your Resting Place for 2d10+20 years. At the end of the rest, you slowly awaken over 1d4 hours, and are automatically Frenzied with a Hunger Level of 10, unless you are given blood as part of the awakening process. If you are given blood before the Long Sleep Ends, you wake up, but loose the benefits of The Long Sleep. Regardless of whether or not you successfully complete your Long Sleep, you cannot Long Sleep again until at least 10 years have passed.

Elder Vampire II

The second step in an aging Vampire's unlife.

Prerequisites

  • Talent: Elder Vampire I
  • Long Sleep: You must have successfully completely The Long Sleep two times.
  • Cost: 1 Destiny point

Features

♦ Unnatural Toughness II
Increase the bonus from Unnatural Toughness to +2 Hitpoints per Level.
♦ Knowledge of Undeath II
You gain one extra philosophy point which can be spent in the Undeath, Mental, or Physical philosophies.
♦ Strength of the Grave II
Increase the Bonuses from Strength of the Grave to +4 Strength, +2 Dexterity, and +2 Constitution.
