Weapon Master

"Welcome to your first day at the Academy. May I draw your attention to the large rack of weapons behind me? The day will end when everyone here has fought each other individual present with every weapon in this room. You may begin."
——Talos Steelborne, Headmaster of BlackSteel Academy

Weapon Masters are most commonly found in city areas and martial schools, where various cultures and fighting styles can come together. It is only in places like these that a true weapon master can be forged. For this reason most Weapon Masters also come from educated or wealthy backgrounds, as these types of lessons are rarely open to people of common birth, although exceptional talents of low station are sometimes given training in exchange for service to the school.

This is a one tier talent for the combatant who wants to know it all. A Weapon Master has the training and fortitude to wield just about any weapon they pick up. Sometimes an adventurer will find himself forced to use whatever is on hand. If the adventurer is a Weapon Master, this is less of a problem and more of an aesthetic choice.

Weapon Master

Since a Weapon Master must be able to wield most types of weapons with great skill, most have a strong core strength and a slightly larger than average frame, which ensures the ability to handle weapons that require speed or power. These warriors are versatile, and not only possess a strong instinct for fighting, but also train their minds to understand various philosophies and strategies behind different weapon types. It is ultimately the training that forges the most skilled Weapon Masters, not their natural talent.
