Bone Worm

Characteristics

This demon has one motivation: Kill. They are among the most aggressive and hateful of their kind, perhaps because they do not posses a recognizable body of their own, at least as far as anyone has ever seen. They use the many jagged bones protruding from their length to launch piercing attacks that shred their enemies to pieces. They can even shoot out large bones that can pierce and drag victims back to their bodies, where they are more easily destroyed and consumed.

History

These massive demons are rarely seen on the material plane, being too large and powerful to fit through most mortal made rifts. It is a good thing, for the legends of the destruction these creatures bring upon their own kind makes speculation of their potential on the mortal plane dreadful and even heretical in some circles. If there were any instances of a Bone Worm making it's way out of the depths of hell, it is likely no one survived to tell the story.
