Description

Ur dust is an extremely dark grey powder, almost black. If it is inhaled, the victim becomes unable to think clearly or quickly, and has trouble taking actions. This powder can be found in deep, cavernous mountains, and also off the backs of nocturnal monsters of a wicked intelligence.

Lore

The Ur is a malevolent creature named for the mountain range it resides in. Resembling an enormous arachnid, it is far more than a simple spider. The creature is a form of vampiric undead, unique to itself. The dust it sheds from its body is used to disorient those that attempt to travel through its domain. Once their guard has been lowered, the Ur approaches to capture and devour its prey. Bodies drained by the Ur spawn thousands of tiny offspring that scatter out among the mountains to take up their own lairs. Venturing to the Ur mountains is a journey widely regarded as foolhardy, even for the prepared.
