Fog
Fog and mist are created by suspended liquid droplets in the air and obscure vision and tend to mute sounds and odors. The density of the fog determines how much obscurement is created.
Light Fog
Light fog is a mildly obstructive to vision. While you can generally see through light fog, details can become blurred and distant sights may be obscured. Areas of Light Fog have the following effects:
- Partial Concealing Terrain (Vision, Blocking, 30ft distance).
- Total Concealing Terrain (Vision, Blocking, 100ft distance).
Heavy Fog
Heavy fog is obstructive to vision and can influence other sensory perception to a certain extent. While you can generally see short distances through heavy fog, details can become blurred and distant sights are completely obscured. Areas of Heavy Fog have the following effects:
- Partial Concealing Terrain (Vision, Blocking, 10ft distance).
- Total Concealing Terrain (Vision, Blocking, 30ft distance).
- Partial Concealing Terrain (Smell, Sound, Blocking, 50ft distance).
Dense Fog
Dense fog is super thick and significantly obstructive to vision. It can also obscure other sensory perception. It is difficult to see more than 5ft while in heavy fog, and even at closer range details can become distorted. Areas of Dense Fog have the following effects:
