Power:Power Theft

Power Theft
Corruptor Class Feature
Prerequisites: Corruptor II
Focus Action [FT 5, REC 2]
Cost: 2 Essence and 2 Resolve Burn
Effect: You attempt to draw forth a target's abilities, allowing you to keep them for yourself. Make an attack:
Range: Touch
Target: One Creature
Melee Attack: Corruption vs. Touch
Hit: You steal a power (or similar ability) of your choice from the target. The target loses access to the power, and you gain access to the use of that power. To use the stolen power you must spend 2 Essence and spend any Cast Time, Focus Time, or Recovery Time appropriate to the power (you need not pay any Energy Cost of the power). Your use of the power mimics that of the original creature (i.e. same dice of damage, rank of use, etc), though any weapon attacks use your weapon statistics instead of the original creature's weapon and any Casting or Focus powers use your Corruption for the Attack (i.e. in place of Devotion, Arcana, etc) and your Corruptor Might for damage (i.e. in place of Divine Might, Eldritch Might, etc) . You retain use of the power until a phase has passed or you use this ability again (you may only have one power stolen at a time). The creature regains use of the power after one phase (regardless of whether you released it early or not).

When you use this power you may choose a specific power of the creature's (that you have seen used or are aware of) or you receive a power at random (preferentially choosing higher ranked powers over lower ranked powers). You cannot steal any power of Ultimate Caliber or that requires a Karma cost. You also cannot steal any abilities that are based on natural weapon attacks or that require a morphology that you do not have (i.e. you cannot steal a wyvern's sting attack since it is based on a natural weapon, and you could only take a water elemental's engulf ability if you were also made of water, or similar liquid).
Master Augment, Second Power Theft
[Corruptor III]
Effect: You may now have two stolen powers active at a time.
