Focus: A pewter locket, inscribed with arcane runes [Value: 25 gp] and a model of the exact creature you wish to turn into (a illustration, portrait, statue, or the creature itself).
Cost: 5 Resolve Allocation
Cast Time: 1 phase
Duration: Until dismissed, dispelled, or disrupted.
Effect: While wearing the locket, you spend 1 phase in deep concentration focusing on the creature whose appearance you wish to emulate. At the completion of the ritual, a miniaturized version of your image becomes stored within the locket and your appearance is altered to exactly mimic the creature whose model you focus on.
  • The creature must be of the same Size as you and any clothing, equipment, and gear that you wield is unchanged.
  • In this altered form, you gain the Movement Modes and Senses of the new creature (and lose your own), but any other Racial Features remain unchanged.
  • While your appearance is indistinguishable from the model creature, you do not gain any information about the creature's history, knowledge, or memories.
  • If the locket is ever removed from around your neck, the ritual automatically ends.
