Sealing Wax

Sealing wax is a special type of wax that, when melted, hardens and quickly adheres to dry surfaces such as papyrus and parchment. It is most often used to bind important documents, and the official seal of the sender is then stamped on the wax as an indicator that it came from their hands. Several different colors of sealing wax are available, and can also serve as an identifying characteristic of an individual's personal seal. This material is commonly used by nobility, royalty, wealthy adventurers, high ranking military and other such people of import.
