The Juvenile is an underdeveloped spawn of the Mycoform race. These creatures have toughened fungal bodies that resemble flesh, the younger ones being paler and softer than full formed adults. They are vaguely humanoid, with wide-brimmed mushroom caps that serve as hair and a natural hat. From this mushroom cap, they can release spores that allow telepathic communication and aid in their perception of their environment. Since they can only speak telepathically, and have no actual language, other humanoids may find themselves deluged with communication attempts that resemble children squealing with enthusiasm, whaling in terror, or giggling mischievously, depending on the situation. A Juvenile is roughly 2 ½ to 3 feet tall, and can weigh as much as 40 lbs.

  • Sun Sickness: When a Mycoform is exposed to direct sunlight, it becomes Sickened and Weakened. If the exposure persists beyond approximately one hour, the Juvenile Mycoform dies.
