Simple Monsters

A Simple Monster is the common monster type in Quest of Destiny. It follows special rules for actions. They have 3 action points (AP) for every recovery time. An example of 1 AP would be a standard move. An example of 2 AP would be the monster's standard attack. An example of 3 AP would the monster's special attack. A simple monster can use 1, 2 or 3 AP on their initiative. The monster might move (1 AP) and then use it's standard attack (2 AP) for 3 AP.

Simple monsters always fail their initial saving throw. After the automatic first failed save the simple monsters may use 1 AP to make a saving throw on its initiative. If the monster saves after the first attempt it would have 2 more AP to spend. If it saves after the second attempt it would have 1 AP to use. It can also make 1 saving throw (costing all 3 AP) to make a single save at a +5 bonus.

The specifics of description, abilities, characteristics and all other properties are found under each individual simple monster's description.

Simple Monsters don't typically suffer injuries and are considered to automatically suffer a Lethal Injury when reduced to 0 hitpoints (unless Subdual damage is dealt, witch would cause them to simply be knocked Unconscious).
