A sprite that has been overtaken by a necrotic corruption, it was once a joyful fae creature that delighted in pranks, mischief, and on occasion assisting goodly mortal creatures of a similar nature. Now, however, it has grown gaunt, its skin pale and clammy, with sunken eyes and its formerly shimmering wings taking on a dried out, wispy appearance. The Corrupted Sprite's demeanor has become one of cruelty, spite, jealousy, and malevolence. It seeks to aid other evil creatures in their goals to harm the natural world and will do this be spreading the necrotic filth that infests its bodies to nearby enemies. Even its voice changes under the sway of corruption, taking on a raspy, grating tone that festers in the mind like maggots on a decaying corpse.
