Magical Keyword

The Magical Keyword signifies an ability that channels and potentially transforms the energies of the universe into some sort or magical effect. This can be represented by a Mage calling on the innate magic of the world, a Cleric calling on the magic of his deity, or a Druid calling forth the powers of the elements. Regardless of the source of a Magical Effect, they all have the following properties in common:

• Magical Effects are subject to Magic Resistance (unless the power or ability states otherwise).
• Magical Effects can be dispelled or disjoined (unless the power or ability states otherwise) with an ability that targets Magical effects.
• Magical Effects have a potency that is used in making checks against Magic Resistance, Dispelling or Disjoining effects, and when governing the interactions between Opposing Powers.
