Force Cage

Force Cage
Magic Resistance: No
Legendary Eldritch Spell [Magical, Perceptive, Force]
Prerequisites: Eldritch Rank 8
Disciplines: Evocation
Potency: [1d12 + Eldritch Rank]
Cast Action [CT 9, REC 6]
Components: V, S, F [Large Ruby, Value: 10,000 gp]
Cost: 6 Resolve and 3 Resolve Burn
Duration: 2d6 Rounds or until dismissed, dispelled or disrupted.
Range: 50 ft
Area: A Barred Cage (20 ft cube).
Effect P: You weave arcane energies into a cage of force with which to trap a creature of your choosing. Provided the creature fits inside the cage, they are trapped within for the duration of the spell (if they cannot fit, the spell fails). The cage is made of bars of force a half-inch in width, spaced a half-inch apart. The bars are immune to all damage. Any creatures that can move through the small space can escape, but others are trapped. A creature inside the cage has cover from attacks made from outside the cage, and the cage prevents attacks from any weapons that do not fit between the bars.
Similar to a Wall of Force, extra-dimensional travel can be used to travel in and out the cage, but Ethereal travel is blocked. Likewise, the cage cannot be dispelled, but is automatically destroyed if targeted by a Disintegrate Spell.
Special: A single focus can only maintain one instance of this spell at a time. This spell overcomes Magic Resistance.
Master Augment, Force Prison
[Eldritch Rank 8]
Effect: When you cast this spell, instead of creating a new cage, you target an existing cage previously created by you. Extend the duration of the existing cage to 2 hours per Eldritch Rank. You may only extend the duration of a cage once.
Master Augment, Windowless Cell
[Eldritch Rank 8]
Effect: Instead of a Barred Cell, you create a Windowless Cell (10 ft cube). This is a solid cell with no openings, preventing all interaction with the outside world, save for Extra-dimensional travel.
