Provoke

When a power or ability Provokes (usually indicated by a small "P" next to the effect or attack line), this indicates that using this ability while within the Threat Range of another creature grants that creature a Opportunity on you. In other words, if you use the power while within the area Threatened, that creature (or creatures) may take an attack of opportunity, if they choose to. This is most commonly seen in abilities that allow you to attack or harm others at range, such as a Ranged Weapon Attack or magical ability with a range greater than Touch.
