Contingency

Contingency
Magic Resistance: No
Legendary Eldritch Spell [Magical]
Prerequisites: Eldritch Rank 7
Disciplines: Divination
Potency: [1d12 + Eldritch Rank]
Cast Action [CT 10 minutes]
Components: V, S, F [Ivory Statuette decorated with Gems, Value 1500 gp]
Cost: Special (see text)
Duration: Until dismissed, dispelled or disrupted (up to 1 day per Eldritch Rank)
Effect: You store an Eldritch spell within an Ivory Statuette that activates under certain conditions that you set. The eldritch spell must be a Basic or Advanced spell that you have mastered. When the contingency is cast, you must allocate Stamina and Resolve equal to the cost of the stored spell, plus one additional resolve. The allocated energy does not return until the Contingency is used (or Dismissed) and you've taken an Extended Rest.

The stored spell activates under any conditions that you specify at the time the contingency is cast. The conditions can be as specific or general as you like, but should not be longer than about 50 words.

Special: You may only have one instance of the Contingency spell active at a time. If you cast Contingency while another instance of the spell is active, the first instance is dismissed.
Master Augment, Forethought
[Eldritch Rank 8, Stackable]
Stacking [Eldritch Rank 8, 9, 10, etc.]: This augment may be applied an unlimited number times and is only limited by your character’s Eldritch Rank.
Effect: You may have one additional instance of the Contingency spell active at a time. Exceeding this limit causes the first (oldest) Contingency to be dismissed.
Master Augment, Greater Contingency
[Eldritch Rank 9]
Effect: The stored spell may now be a Legendary Eldritch Spell. You must allocate energy for the burn cost in addition to the normal cost.
