Area: Up to 4 - 10 cubic foot sections of rock
Effect: Altering the elemental composition of stone with a quick, shimmering pulse, You turn any natural, unworked rock into a thick mud. The area may be shaped according to your will along the surface of the stone, but the mud may only penetrate 10 feet deep. Any creatures standing on the surface sinks chest (or equivalent) deep in the mud. The mud restricts movement, imposing Disadvantage on Attack Rolls, a -5 Penalty to Active Skill Checks, and reducing skirmish speeds to 5 ft.

If the spell is cast on an overhead rock source, such as a cavern or tunnel ceiling, the mud falls to the floor, spreading outward to create a pool up to 5 feet deep (or possibly deeper if the floor is not flat). Any creatures in the path of the falling mud are subject to the following attack:

Target: All creatures directly beneath the falling mud
Attack: Arcana vs. Reflex
Hit: 4d8 + 40 Bludgeoning damage and the target is knocked prone.
Miss: Half damage
The effect is permanent and not subject to dispelling (though the mud may dry out eventually or be transmuted back to rock).
Structural Effect: The Integrity of stone structures are reduced by 1 degree.
Augment, Mud to Rock
[Eldritch Rank 6]
Effect: You can alternatively turn equal sections of normal mud (or mud transformed via this spell) to stone. Creatures within the mud are subject to the following attack:
Target: All creatures within the mud
Attack: Arcana vs. Reflex
Hit: The creature becomes trapped within the stone. Another creature may pick away at the stone, releasing the trapped creature after 1 hour per foot deep the creature is in the rock. Alternatively, the rock has a Durability of 30 and a creature may be released if the stone becomes breached.
Augment, Mass Alteration
[Eldritch Rank 7, Stacking]
Stacking [Rank 7, 8, 9, etc]: This augment may be applied multiple times and is limited by your Eldritch Rank.
Cost: 1 Stamina
Effect: You may affect 4 additional 10 cubic ft sections of rock (or mud).
Master Augment, Advanced Transmutation
[Eldritch Rank 9]
Cost: 2 Stamina
Effect: You may now affect hewn stone.
Master Augment, Transmute Rock to Lava
[Eldritch Rank 10]
Cost: 2 Stamina and 2 Stamina Burn
Effect: Instead of the normal effects you may target Stone (as above) and turn it to an equal amount of Lava. Creatures standing in the pool of lava take damage as normal. If a ceiling is transformed, the lava drops on all creature below it, spreading outward to create a pool up to 3ft deep (or possibly deeper if the surface is not flat). Make an attack:
Target: All creatures directly beneath the falling lava
Attack: Arcana vs. Reflex
Hit: Target is knocked prone and treated as being submerged in lava for one round.
Miss: The target avoids the direct flow of lava, but is still considered to be standing in lava until it moves out of the area.
The lava created is permanent, but will cool normally over time.
Special: If you are using the Transmute Mud to Rock augment, you may instead target Lava and turn it to Stone.
