The Troglodytes have a time-honored tradition of gathering into small groups to ambush and swarm challenging prey. They also use this tactic on lesser or moderate prey...in fact this is their primary method of attack in almost all cases. They will huddle in a group and alter their skin to match the environment. As soon as a creature wanders nearby, they burst forth from their hiding spot as a single, chaotic mass of claws, clubs, and biting teeth. They prefer to utilize this tactic in a fitting environment, such as a deep cave or fetid grotto, but are capable of adapting this strategy in just about any area.
