Brownies are small fey, nearly half the height of a goblin, with comically large heads and ears. They favor clothes made of green or brown leaves and other malleable plants. They nearly always wear tool belts lined with a variety of implements ideal for working wood. They prefer to use trickery in combat over violence and will look to redirect enemies so that they may escape to a safe location. They often hide in trees and other plant life with wood as a base. They may even resort to sneaking under floorboards and between wooden walls to escape violence. Brownies are known for being abrasively honest, which other species may find antagonistic. The small fae don’t intend to irritate most creatures they encounter, but this usually occurs despite their best intentions.
