A Snow Leopard has a body length of roughly 5 feet, a tail just over 3 feet, and weighs up to 120 lbs. on average. It has thick, white fur with black spots covering its body, a slight yellowish tinge, except for the belly, which is covered in pure white fur. It has a stockier frame than most other felines of its genus, and much thicker fur. This is most likely an adaptation to living in predominantly cold and mountainous regions. Like other large predatory cats, they stalk their prey and pounce when they suspect they are vulnerable. Specifically, they prefer to attack from the high ground, leaping down on a target and finishing them off with a vicious bite and cutting claws. These particular animals are especially feared due to the color of their bodies matching the environment they live in, allowing them to blend in with their surroundings and lie in wait.
