The returned thrall of a humanoid slain by a Vampire Lord, it possesses many of the physical strengths and weaknesses of a true vampire, but none of the powers of manipulation and domination that the master does. These abilities are not gifted to a slave, and so a Spawn will usually remain under the control of its master, hunting for food and victims for the Vampire Lord while attempting to sate its own unending hunger. A spawn appears much like it did in life, but unlike a true vampire, it is unable to mask some subtle differences such as the hollowness of its eyes and the deathly pale tone of its skin. A Spawn will hide within the shadows and ambush a solitary victim, if possible. They would prefer not to attack multiple enemies at once, but will do so if starving or desperate.
