Winter Wolves are an unnatural creation, some say. Bigger by far than even an ordinary wolf at nearly 8 feet in length and almost 500 lbs., these intelligent beasts are covered in bright white fur. They are possessed of an affinity for the tundras and ice caverns they inhabit, and can assail victims with blasts of elemental cold, or simply bite through them with their jagged, icy teeth. The most dangerous aspect of these bestial Frost Kin, however, is their intelligence. They are just as smart as most humanoids, and can even speak in the common tongue, as well as that of giants, an ability most researchers believed to be physically impossible for any breed of wolf. This leads many to believe that Winter Wolves are an Eldritch creation, an abomination of nature and magic. Whatever the case, these monsters are evil to the core, and often seek to ally with Frost Giants to better ensure their survival and domination of the land they live in.
