The Dire Wolf shares similar traits with its less primal cousin but is far more powerful and cunning by far. They appear as large wolves with frightening, jagged teeth the size of small daggers that can snap through a humanoid body in seconds. Their fur color ranges much as a wolf's does, usually a dark grey. Much like their smaller brethren Dire Wolves hunt in packs, and have been known to take down grizzly bears, worgs, and even creatures as large as Ogres, having little of the fear traditional wolves have for larger beasts or humanoids. A Dire Wolf is nearly 9 feet long and can weigh up to 800 lbs.
