Ice Toads stand about 6 feet tall on all fours, and weigh almost 400 lbs. Fortunately, they are native to mostly arctic environments, inhabiting frozen caves and chilling underground grottoes where smaller creatures tend not to live. Their slippery hides vary from a pure white to an icy blue, speckled with darker blue spots along the upper body and head. They prefer to lash out at prey with a shimmering, dark blue tongue, coated with crystallized ice, from a safe distance. This is then followed up with a giant leap that shatters the ground around them, throwing their opponents off their guard with a piercing spray of ice. Unlike other toads, these strange amphibians are extremely territorial, and will attack aggressively if they feel that their lair is being invaded.
