Occasionally, Dwarves must wage war under the open sky instead of defensibly from their mountain homes, and so comes need for the Dwarven Scout. Favoring leather armor, longbow, and longsword, the Scout is faster than other dwarves, but still sturdy and brave like all their kinfolk. Their primary purpose is to gather information on any encroaching enemies or threats and comb the land for straggling monsters such as Goblins and Orcs. The Dwarf Scout prefers to engage enemies only when it is necessary, as a dwarf's first responsibility is to duty, and their duty cannot be carried out if they are captured. Still, if forced to fight, a Dwarf Scout will engage with the bow from afar at first, then happily wade into hand-to-hand combat if the enemy locates them.
