The Parched
The Parched
Humanoid Zombie, E Medium Undead (Mindless)
Simple Monster, XP 2500
Level 12 (+6)
"Do not anger the gods of the desert, boy. Be grateful for the bounty we receive from the wastes, as humble as it is. Those who seek more than they’re due wind up like them."
——Masgeron, Human Cleric
The desiccated undead, as they are sometimes called, are zombies cursed to roam the ashen wastes forever seeking to replenish their dried out, cracking bodies. Should The Parched gain hold of a victim for too long, they will find their bodies drained of all water, while the undead remains ever thirsty. These monstrosities look much like a zombie that has been in the sun for too long, however, salt crystals line their hollow eyes and mouths. When they attack, they have been known to unleash a salty spray of sand into the eyes of their victims, blinding them and making it easier to drain the water from their bodies.
