Force Damage

"You look confused, friend. As you can plainly see, your chest has been compressed in such a fashion as to imply you were struck by a heavy object, yet no such object is present. Now, do you believe in magic, you arrogant, insolent fool?"
——Meldrin Morasse, The Red Mage

Force is the magical energy that is primarily used to shape other magical evocations. It condenses into various shapes and intensities based on the magnitude of the spell and the skill of the caster. Such energies are extremely malleable, and can serve as protection or offense. Being naturally formless, colorless and lacking any real definable substance, it is terribly hard to resist or destroy. Because of this, many skilled practitioners of the Eldritch Arts favor force effects in their spell-casting.
