Dire Rat, Medium

Dire Rat
Level 2 (+2)
"Yes, I understand that I entered into a contract with you to exterminate your "pest" problem. However in this case I believe our contract to be null and void as you failed to disclose to me critical, need to know information about this particular vermin. Specifics? Absolutely. It ate my horse. That is not a "pest". What you have, my friend, is a "monster""
——Verko Bastier, local vermin exterminator.
A medium Dire Rat is capable of overpowering a large human. Unlike other rats, these creatures are not frequently seen among many others of their kind, this is probably due to available food sources and competition between larger Dire rats driving greater numbers into separate areas. One Dire Rat of this size is more than enough of a threat for any creature, as their angry demeanor coupled with their raw power, as well as potent diseases they carry make them a hazard to even seasoned combatants.
