Hawk

Hawk
Level 1 (+1)
"He’s been a faithful friend ever since I took this grove. Never wavered once, and always catches his mark, no matter the distance. Especially during mating season …"
——Taskar, Half-Elf Ranger
A bird of ordinary size for its species, they tend to live in the woodlands. They hunt small game such as snakes, lizards, fish, and rabbits. They have four different color receptors in their eyes, allowing them to perceive in the ultraviolet spectrum, and they enjoy magnified vision that help them pick out prey from afar. While known for being predatory and somewhat violent hunters, outside of this aspect they are generally peaceful creatures and relatively easy to train. Hawks can weigh anywhere from 1-3 lbs. on average.
