Blinded
You have lost your sense of sight (including senses based on sight, such as Darkvision). You must rely on your other senses to perceive the world around you. In combat situations it is easy to get disoriented, and you may need to feel along a wall to move or roll a d8 to determine the direction of movement at random (GM discretion). Targeting opponents also requires you to either already know their location (based on their previous location or where an attack came from). See Locating Creatures with Concealment for more details.
- You fail all Spot checks.
- All creatures have Superior Concealment (Vision) from your visual sense.
- You suffer a penalty to your Awareness equal to your Skill Rank in Spot and automatically fail checks based purely on visual phenomena. You additionally lose any bonus granted to Awareness from Superior Vision.
- To target an opponent, you must locate them using another Sensory Skill (such as listen), or roll a d8 to determine a random direction (GM discretion).
Mob Monsters
If the creature relies primarily on its visual sense for attacking, the monster is rendered Incapacitated by the Blindness.
