Banded Mail

Banded Mail is similar to Splint Mail, featuring sewn in strips of metal as its main protection. However, these strips are a bit thicker, and rest horizontally along the torso, arms legs and shoulders, often backed by a suit of chain or hard leather. Banded mail also tends to cover the entire body, featuring Banded Mail gauntlets and greaves. These full suits of armor are often favored by newer adventurers, being highly protective yet affordable, almost as reliable as plate armor.
