Battleaxe
The Battleaxe is one the first model of axe that was intended for battle. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but are usually small enough to be wielded in one hand. The shaft usually runs about 2-3 feet in length and is commonly topped with a one or two sided half-circle chopping blade.
