Foil

Called a Gentleman's Weapon by some, a Foil is a thin, edgeless sword with a fine point designed only for piercing. The metal of the blade is even designed to bend to allow piercing attacks from changing angles. This sword is more often found in competitions of a non-lethal nature with the points dulled, but can easily be used in combat by a trained fighter.
