Hatchet

Hatchets have a short wooden handle with a small metal chopping blade on one end. They are more commonly used for household chores and manual labor involved in wood cutting, but that doesn't mean they can't be used as weapons. While they don't do a lot of damage they are quick and light, making them one of the few slashing weapons that can be used as melee and throwing weapons.
