Description

The Heavy Crossbow is simply a larger, heavier version of an ordinary crossbow. The advantage to a larger crossbow is of course, a longer range, more power and being able to fire a heavier bolt. Some such weapons are sized for large creatures such as ogres, at which point it could be argued that they are powerful enough to be considered siege weapons.
