Magic Essence

Magic Essence is extracted from the lifeforce of an enchanted creature (i.e. Fairy, Demon, Dragon, Unicorn, etc.) and serves as a strong bridge between the world of man and the world of the arcane. It is a versatile ingredient, used in many rituals and in the creation of magical items. Magic Essence is usually sold at 20 gp per drop. Certain rituals, potions, etc. may require magic essence distilled from a specific creature (or type of creature).
