Masterwork

Masterwork items have been crafted with extreme care and detail. They are typically considered the absolute best (non-magical) items that are available for purchase. Masterwork items may be purchased for 150% of the cost of their mundane equivalents (or +10 gold, whichever is more). The Hardness of Masterwork items is increased by 1 over their mundane equivalent.

Masterwork Armor

• Reduce the Check Penalty by 1
• Grant a +0/+1 Item bonus to AC

Masterwork Shield

• Reduce the Check Penalty by 1

Masterwork Weapons

• Grant a +1 Item bonus to Armor Negation.
• Grant a +1% Item bonus to Critical Strike

Masterwork Tools

• Grant a +2 Item bonus to relevant skill checks
