Scimitar
The Scimitar first found widespread use among eastern cultures, their style of combat favoring a quicker, more graceful weapon. A scimitar features a wide, flat blade with a crescent shape ending in a point at the top, and is meant to be used only as a slashing weapon with a balanced fighting style. Masters witnessed wielding these weapons in combat have often been compared to performance artists, hence the term "blade dancing".
