"Why would you wake me from my dreams, little creatures? Even now, as you stand before me you are unable to defend yourselves in my presence,"
——Teranian, Ancient Chrono Dragon

Description

Time Dust appears to be made of tiny grains of white sand. Upon closer inspection, one can actually see tiny reflections of events yet to come in every single grain. This poison must be handled with gloves, as touching even a single grain can effect an individual. Once a target makes contact with the dust, they become magically Slowed. They do not become sluggish, but actually have their participation within the current timeline drastically slowed until the effects wear off.

Lore

This Dust was created by an ancient dragon who slept outside the Material Plane for thousands of years, until at last being woken up by a group of ambitious adventurers. The Dragon defeated them in battle, but chose not to kill them, instead sending them back with the encrusted film that had formed around his eyes after his countless centuries of slumber. Initially they were disgusted until they recognized its properties. They happily took it back to the material plane to learn how to replicate it. The Dragon, understanding the nature of humanoids, understood that eventually all humanoids from that plane would suffer the effects of the dust, heavily reducing the chance of having its sleep interrupted again.
