Slowed

Your reactions and movements have been magically slowed down. You are subject to the following effects:

  • You double the Recovery Times of all your actions and you cannot take Immediate, Opportunity, Interruptive, or Reactive actions.
  • You grant an Advantage to all opponents
  • You have a Disadvantage on Attack Rolls.
  • Cast Times and Focus Times are unaffected by the Slowed condition.
  • You always go last in the segment (but still before immediate actions). Multiple slowed creatures go in initiative order at the end of the segment.

Note: If the Slow effect ends while you are Recovering, your remaining Recovery Time returns to normal (essentially reducing any remaining "slowed" time by half, rounded up). Additionally, Delayed, Dazed, and Stunned durations are not increased while slowed.

Examples

  • While you are Slowed, you take an action with a 3 segment recovery. Since the Slow effect doubles your Recovery Time, you must wait 6 segments (instead of the normal 3) before you take your next turn.
  • You are 3 segments into a 7 segment Recovery Time when you become Slowed. Normally your next turn would be in 4 segments, but since you are Slowed, you must double this remaining time. Therefore, your next turn is in 8 segments, instead of 4.
  • While Slowed, you make an an attack with a 6 segment Recovery Time (becoming 12 segments). In 4 segments, the slow effect ends. Your remaining Recovery Time returns to normal, effectively cutting your remaining "slowed" Recovery Time in half, and becomes 4 segments (i.e. 12-4=8, 8÷2=4, therefore remaining Recovery is 4).
  • While Slowed you take an action with a Recovery Time of 5 segments (becoming Recovery 10). The Slow effect ends 3 segments later. Your remaining Recovery Time returns to normal, rounded up (i.e. 10-3=7, 7÷2=3.5, remaining Recovery is rounded up to 4).

Simple Monsters

Simple Monsters lose all actions points every other turn, starting with its next turn (i.e. 0 points for the next turn, normal for the following turn, then 0 again for the third turn, etc).

Mob Monster

The monster is slowed to the point of incapacitation.
