Fundamentals:Choosing Powers
There are four calibers of Mastered Powers: Basic, Advanced, Legendary and Ultimate. A character's level determines when it gains a new Mastered Power and what caliber of power it gains. Higher caliber powers are not gained until higher levels. Classes may also grant bonus powers at specific levels (and typically of specific calibers).
When granted a new Mastered Power, the character may choose any power for which it qualifies of the specified Caliber. These powers will have prerequisites, such as Philosophy Ranks, Skill Ranks, and Attribute requirements, that a character must meet before choosing a power. Typically, a character will choose powers from within the Disciplines granted by their Class (see Choosing Powers for more information).
Memorized Powers
Some Classes grant Memorized powers (which can be listed on the final page of the character sheet), which can be switched out every time the character takes an Extended Rest. Having Memorized powers allows a character to have a greater variety of powers to choose from, but reduces the efficacy of those powers (as a character cannot utilized the Master Augments on any power that has been memorized).
Note: This maybe should be removed and added to advanced character concepts.
