Composure

Composure is equivalent to “social hitpoints,” representing the amount of effort needed to convince an opponent to align with your objective. Each time you succeed a social skill using a Convince action, you deal damage to your opponent's composure. A creature's Composure score is determined with the following equation:

Composure = Charisma Score + ½ Sum of Defensive Social Skill Ranks

In other words, the strength of a creature's personality combined with its ability to defend against social influence determines its resistance to being swayed during a social encounter.

Unlike hitpoints, damage to composure automatically is restored when the Convince Action resolves.
