Delaying Your Turn
Sometimes, when Taking Your Turn you don't have a clear idea of what your character should do. When this is the case, you may choose to Delay Your Turn until its appropriate for your character to act. Your turn will be affected in the following ways:
- After you Delay, you can choose to take your turn at any time, though you cannot interrupt another creature's turn.
- If you decide to act in response to what an ally or opponent does, you must wait until that creature's turn completes before you can act.
This distinguishes Delaying a Turn from Readying an Action, which allows you to act in response to a predetermined trigger and therefore may allow you to interrupt an opponent's turn.
