Readying an Action
Sometimes, when Taking Your Turn the conditions are not quite right for you to act. This could mean that the opponents are Hidden and your are unsure as to their location. Or perhaps the opponent is just too far away, and you would prefer for them to come to you. In situations such as these, you may choose to Ready an Action instead of taking your turn directly. When you ready an action, you proclaim the action you plan to take and the circumstance where you will take it. For example, if your opponent is hidden from you, you may make Ready to fire your bow at the target as soon as he becomes visible. Alternatively, you may make Ready to swing your sword as soon as an opponent comes within reach.
After Readying an Action, you may take the predetermined action as soon as the qualifying circumstance or condition is met, even if taking that action interrupts another creature's turn. If you choose to change or end your Readied Action, however, you must wait until the current creature's turn ends before you may do so (similarly to Delaying your Turn).
