Fog and Mist

Fogs and Mists make it difficult to see your surroundings, providing concealment and imposing penalties to Spot checks. Whereas Fog results from low-lying clouds, Mist forms as the result of temperature changes in humid environments and from some water formations (such as waterfalls or geysers).

Mild Fog or Mist: Provides Partial Concealment to all non-adjacent creatures. Suffer a -4 penalty to Spot checks.
Thick Fog or Mist: Provides Total Concealment to all non-adjacent creatures, and Partial Concealment to adjacent creatures. Automatically fail all Spot checks (if more than 5ft away, which suffers -4 penalty).
