"Don't be afraid, it's all just a part of the cycle of life!"-Timol the Executioner, trying to soothe a client's nerves

Description

This imposing Axe is always a little dirty, as if it had been used for a decade, than left in a pile of refuse. The wooden shaft is strong but gnarled, and always seems to be covered in a film of earth, which actually helps the grip of the wielder considerably while swinging the rusted blade.

Lore

Some magic items are forged, some items manifest powers throughout time, and the latter is the case with the Axe of Grounding. The Axe of Grounding has seen over 1,000 executions, and many believe that it gained an affinity for driving mortal forms back into the earth from which they came. Some also speculate that it was created by druids to assist in punishing those who would harm the world around them.
