The Crown of Intellect appears as a thin and ridged crest with a pale blue opaque gem at the center. The bands feature eldritch runes on the sides. When the item is worn, the gem glows with a faint, soft blue light

Lore

The Crown of Intellect was devised originally to help keep a royal family line in power, as not every heir to the throne was gifted with insight and ruling acumen. The crown would be worn by the ruling individual at all times, and then passed down to the next of kin. Eventually, a clan of artificers discovered the family secret and hired a skilled thief who managed to steal the item so that it could be replicated. This act also caused the downfall of the royal line over time, but the thieves were never caught.
