Description

These appear to be a pair of well-polished steel plate gauntlets belonging to a suit of armor. The only thing visible trait they possess that betray their magical nature is a small rune on the back of the hand, the arcane symbol for "Ogre."

Lore

The first pair of these gauntlets belonged to the rarest of creatures: An Ogre Knight. While not perfect, he worked hard against his brutish tendencies to serve the lord of a small city. After many years of sacrifice, he was named a champion of the city, and was bestowed a suit of exquisite and extremely heavy full plate armor. So proud was the Knight that he wept on to his gift before proudly donning it. It was said that his essence was carried from his tears and into the armor, imbuing its wearer with incredible strength. Since then, pieces of the armor have been replicated again and again by various magical artisans.
